Mr. Robert Lacey, the Music teacher at Valley High School and Valley Elementary School, was recently selected by the UHSAA as the 2017 Recipient for Music Educator of the Year. The UHSAA Distinguished Service Award was initiated in 1987 to honor individuals for their service and contributions to high school activities. Mr. Lacey’s career has certainly met those requirements as he has excelled at helping his music students and the music programs to reach new heights since coming to VHS in the 2007-08 school year. We would like to congratulate Mr. Lacey for this accomplishment and thank him for the great job that he does!
