The VHS golf team has continued to excel during their region golf tournaments. With Region and State just around the corner, Valley has the top 4 ranked golfers in the region: Cobe Reck 1st, Ike Stout 2nd, Casey Reck 3rd, and Chevy Spencer 4th. Kade Cox is also ranked in the top ten. Next week will determine the Region Champion. Valley should win the team tournament in the boys division, and the individual finishes could come down to a few strokes. We wish all of our golfers the best of luck!

The VHS Golf team is off to a strong start after winning the first two region tournaments. The first tournament was held at Sand Hollow and the boys came away with a dominating win. Cobe Reck took first place, Ike Stout second, Casey Reck third, and Chevy Spencer fifth. Dustin Cox and Brycen Barrick also did a great job. The team won by 75 strokes.
The next tournament was held at our own Mt. Carmel golf course. Once again, the team performed very well and came away with the victory. This time it was Ike Stout leading the way in first place, Cobe Reck second, Chevy Spencer third, Casey Reck seventh, and Kade Cox in ninth. Brycen Barrick rounded out the great team performance. In her first tournament, Jael Chamberlain also placed eighth on the girls side of things. Great job golfers!
